What is Junior Auxiliary? |

"Junior Auxiliary represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles in meeting community needs. Junior Auxiliary provides the member with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community. The objectives of the Association are to unite in one body all Junior Auxiliary Chapters and members to promote Nat ional and individual Chapter purposes; to encourage members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children; to cooperate with other Charitable 501 (c) (3) organizations."

We were one of the first 8 charter chapters of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries.
We became incorporated in February 1941.
We work at least 10 service projects throughout each year.
We have 53 active members, 12 associate members, 239 life members and 1 non-resident member.
We require 72 hours each year from each member. (24 service, 12 education with a total of 72)
We work an average of 6000 hours per year in the community.
