Scholarship

College scholarships are awarded each year to three high school seniors based on need, academic performance and an interview.  A panel of non-Junior Auxiliary judges choose the recipients.  This year we were able to present $16,500 in scholarships.
 
First Place: $7500 scholarship, is Martin Fisher, son of Bobby and Catherine Fisher.  Martin graduated from Pillow Academy and will attend The University of Mississippi.
 
Second Place: $5000 scholarship, is Katie Summers Fondren, daughter of Tim and Myra Fondren.  Katie Summers graduated from Pillow Academy and will attend The University of Mississippi.
 
Third Place: $3000 scholarship, is Laura Hall, daughter of Todd and Stacey Hall.  Laura graduated from Pillow Academy and will attend The University of Mississippi.
 
Fourth Place: $1000 scholarship, is Jamaris Moore, son of Lamar and Vanessa Moore.  Jamaris graduated from Leflore County High School and will attend Mississippi Valley State University.
