Bucks for Books 2024 Guidelines:
Registration will be Friday, May 31st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greenwood Leflore Library or you can register online using the forms at the bottom of this page. Reports will be taken in person each Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 4th through Thursday, June 27th.
Children should read age appropriate books for reports. Please check the books your children are reading and ask a JA member if you have any questions.
Poetry and non-fiction books are hard to report on.
Report takers have the discretion as to whether or not to award the money for a book that is not thoroughly read. They also have the right to ask the child to re-read a book and report at a later date.
Please do not check out more than 5 books at a time.
Upcoming 1st -2nd graders can earn up to $1 per book, maximum 5 per day
Upcoming 3rd- 4th graders can earn up to $2 per book, maximum 4 per day
Upcoming 5th-6th graders can earn up to $4 per book, maximum 3 per day
